Significant Ecological Areas (SEAs) Proposed Expansion

Did you receive a notice from Los Angeles County Planning Department indicating your property is in the proposed expanded Significant Ecological Area? It's important that you understand exactly how your property may be affected.
Properties within an SEA have zoning rules that apply when you submit an application to develop a vacant lot or make substantial changes to your already developed property. Activities that require a permit include removing trees and plants, moving dirt, piling material on top of resources, grading a driveway, installing fencing, and building structures.
